We encourage the submission of abstracts that reflect feasibility, versatility, innovation, and in alignment with the conference themes-

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts are invited from researchers/ academicians and students for the Conference
The following guidelines need to be adhered to: -
- 1. Abstract Title – The abstract must have a short specific title (containing no abbreviations and in bold font) that indicates the nature of the investigation.
- 2. Author Name(s) – First Name(s) initial(s) Surnamea), First Name(s) initial(s) Surnameb) The superscript letters represent affiliations. The submitting author is designated as the presenting author. The presenting author name must be underlined but does not have to be listed as the primary author and can be listed anywhere in the author block
- 3. Affiliations: Department, Institute/University/Hospital, City, (State), Country.

4. Abstract Text- Abstracts must have the following sections identified in bold font:
Background/Aims: What is the major problem that prompted the study?
Methods: How was the study performed?
Results:What are the most important findings?
Conclusion: What is (are) the most important conclusion(s)? - 5. Abstract Format & Length – Font – Calibri 11pt, single line space. Title (in bold font) followed by author names and affiliations. Abstracts should be limited to a maximum 350 words excluding the title or author details.
- 6. Kindly indicate if the abstract is for Oral/Poster presentation or for poster only – The scientific committee will select some abstracts for oral presentations among those who indicated Oral/Poster presentation.
Abstract Review Process
Abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee and selected based on the following criteria:
- Innovation/ novelty – innovation in the field of precision nutrition that may include but is not limited to new or improved procedures, tools to identify and/or apply principles of personalized and precision nutrition, digital innovations, research in novel areas of clinical practice.
- Organization – well organized, easy to follow and understand.
- Practicality – should be scalable, logical, and feasible.
- Presentation – subject matter should be clear, concise and brief.
- Technical quality/ Scientific rigor : application of the scientific method to ensure unbiased and well-controlled experimental design, methodology, analysis, interpretation and reporting of results.
Format for Poster/ Oral Presentation
Presentations for poster and oral will be done live, in person and/or electronically for participants not traveling to India.
AWARDS
Two abstracts, one in each of the Poster and Oral Presentation categories will be awarded an opportunity to have their full paper published in Lifestyle Genomics, free of publication charges, if accepted for publication following the peer-review process.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE AND ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION
- Deadline for Abstract Submission: 4th October 2024
- Notice of Abstract Acceptance: 05th October, 2024
- Registration for the conference will be mandatory for Poster and Oral presenters if their abstract is accepted.
